We are looking for the services of an appropriately qualified, dynamic and highly competent Project Manager. Must be available to fill the position on short notice.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Manage scope, time, and cost of projects from pre- planning to completion/sign-off.
- Compile projects plans and manage projects in accordance with PM best practices.
- Manage various trades and installation teams.
- Draft project specific installation specifications.
- Ensure projects are completed according to technical specifications.
- Site visits and progress reports.
- Work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and affiliate contractors.
- Project meetings.
- Quality assurance.
- Manage and direct project logistics.
- Interpret technical drawings and guide construction teams.
- Interpret technical specifications and ensure adherence.
- Ensure the commercial performance of the contract on all assigned sites is maximized.
- Work closely with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure projects are delivered to specified quality and without defects.
- Remain abreast with the latest developments, trends, and products in the construction industry.
- Inspect completed work & authorize sub-contractor’s payments.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Compile and submit Weekly, Monthly & Project based Reports.
REQUIREMENTS:
- BTech or similar diploma/degree.
- Registered with the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP).
- Sound knowledge/training of PMBoK (Project Management Body of Knowledge)
- Must be available immediate to start.
- Building/Construction management background.
- 5 years+ proven work track record as a Construction Project Manager.
- Strong PC literacy skills – fully competent in MS Office Suite (Word/ Excel/ Outlook, etc.) including MS Project or similar software.
- Valid SA Driver’s license.
- Prepared to travel nationally.

REMUNERATION:
- Market related and dependent on experience.
- Fixed Term Contract – Probation Period of 2 to 3 months.

- We are seeking to employ a Construction Health and Safety Officer who will be Responsible for the implementing and monitoring of the SHE management system and the enhancement of employees, visitors and sub-contractors’ occupational health and safety as well as reduce any impact on the environment, in line with current Organisation’s rules, SHE legislation and SHE management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- SAMTRAC or Equivalent and registered with SACPCMP as CHSO
- Hazard identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA), Incident Investigation, First Aid, Basic Fire Fighting, Construction Regulations, Legal Liability, Internal Auditing (ISO14001 and ISO45001)
- 5 years’ practical experience in occupational health and safety with SACPCMP registration as CHSO or higher.
